We created this site to hear your enhancement ideas, suggestions and feedback about AVEVA products and services. All of the feedback you share here is monitored and reviewed by the AVEVA product managers.

Data Playback Testing for Model Validation

Minoo Hosseinzadeh from SE Lexington had a request to add a capability to the anomaly detection models where the user could upload images of known anomalies to see how the model would react, and validate that the alert thresholds are reasonable. Right now, the anomaly detection model trains on ‘normal’ data and sets the threshold accordingly. But, if images of bad data are also available, it would be nice to see how the model would react to such events in the future. (By the way, this is similar in idea to the “Data Playback” functionality in Aveva Predictive Analtyics.)
