We created this site to hear your enhancement ideas, suggestions and feedback about AVEVA products and services. All of the feedback you share here is monitored and reviewed by the AVEVA product managers.

Ampla Client - Add the ability for a user to control (toggle) client refresh on/off (from within the Ampla client).

BHP Ampla users expressed their frustration at having the Ampla client auto refresh when they are analysing data or looking for specific records/chart options.

Auto refresh is great when the Ampla client is being passively monitored (1 screen among many) in a control room environment. Users can easily see a new record (to be completed) by keeping an eye on event record row colour etc.

The users suggested that it might be a handy feature to allow a user to alter the refresh setting from its default from within the client itself.
