We created this site to hear your enhancement ideas, suggestions and feedback about AVEVA products and services. All of the feedback you share here is monitored and reviewed by the AVEVA product managers.

Better Grouping in PA Column Chooser

The Column Chooser dialog in PA will have a long list of fields(All fields with ShowInGrid = true) with no grouping (meant to group by FieldType but not very useful. Usually, end up with 2 huge groups ID and Other).

There is no search functionality on this dialog either.

Something that the end user could use to reduce the number of columns that can be seen in a forever horizontally scrolling PA grid.

This would be a small change but useful to the end user.

    Should allow better UX for finding columns whether that is grouping or type and find.
