Planning gantt chart handles too thick/wide

Roy hill had complained that the new Gantt chart handles are too wide and takes up too much desktop real estate. Their request verbatim:
"
Recently there were changes to the planning Gantt chart to enable adjusting records where the actuals are overlaid on the records.

These changes have made the handles extremely thick and large, and have resulted in not being able to display as much on the screen as before. The feedback from the customer is it looks like accessibility options and it should be revisited.
