We created this site to hear your enhancement ideas, suggestions and feedback about AVEVA products and services. All of the feedback you share here is monitored and reviewed by the AVEVA product managers.

Access to Ampla Downtime Configuration via webservices


[Enhancement Request]
Customer would like the ability to extract Downtime RP related configuration information through Ampla Web Services/CLR. Currently, Delay Accountants contact the Ampla Maintenance Group to get this information where the maintenance engineers would extract information manually via Ampla Studio. It would be beneficial if end users (such as Delay Accountants) were able to get this information via a light version of a config client. Please refer to request from site, verbatim:

"The customer (Ampla End Users) require the ability to understand how Downtime Reporting Points are configured.
As this assists them when they are analysing Ampla Downtime data.

Current State
• Ampla End User requests L2 Support for Downtime Logic including Real & Virtual Downtime Thresholds for a number of Downtime points of interest for analysis (see x2 example emails requests attached)
• RTIO L2 Support opens Ampla Studio and MANUALLY retrieves

Future State (ie Enhancement request)
• Web Service (CLR stored procedure) access to Ampla Downtime Configuration
• Web Client version of Ampla Studio with read only access to view Downtime Logic

This is an enhancement to allow NON Ampla Admins to view Ampla Downtime Logic, without the need for Ampla Studio access.
