[Enhancement Request]

Currently, Rio Tinto has a custom tool which calls Ampla Web Services to achieve Auto Confirmation of records based on some of their business rules. The example below refers to such an instance where they Auto Confirm records that are less than 5 minutes in duration. This request is yet another one where they are hoping that it would make it to future versions allowing them to utilise them upon upgrade - currently planned for Q2 2020. The request is provided, verbatim:

To reduce the amount of work required to be completed by the Delay Accountants, the decision was made to auto-confirm downtimes that mean certain criteria. The main rule is that the downtimes must be less than 5 minutes in duration. This Cut down on a large number of downtimes, whilst having a negligible impact on the total duration. The system typically auto-confirms ~25% of all entries, which equates to ~12'000 entries per month.

Current State
• Delay Accountant CONFIRMS Ampla Downtime Records manually
OR
• Use a RTIO Internally Developed tool that allows Auto CONFIRMING of Ampla Downtimes based on certain Rules

Future State (ie Enhancement request)
• Productise the RTIO developed tool
o Allow configuration of Auto Confirming rules within Ampla Studio (similar to Ampla ‘Business Rules’)

This is an enhancement to productise and improve on the RTIO developed tool.
