We created this site to hear your enhancement ideas, suggestions and feedback about AVEVA products and services. All of the feedback you share here is monitored and reviewed by the AVEVA product managers.

Graphic export/import to/from XML

This feature has two parts:

Customers request maturity of capabilities of the ExportGraphicsToXML API.
Customers need to a UI to be able to export/import graphics using the IDE (removing the need for GR Access to do this)

The reasons for these requiremets are:

Bulk creation capabilities
Bulk modification capabilities
Storing in Git repositories to improve version control
This also facilitates MTP capabilites

The following features are desired:

Allow graphic toolbox graphics to be exported and imported
Allow multiple graphics to imported with a single action
Allow template graphics to be exported
Export/Import should include "ContentType"
Allow import to target either templates or Graphics Toolbox (regardless of source)
A User Interface in the IDE to perform graphic to and from XML import and Export.
Allow multiple graphics to exported with a single command
