We created this site to hear your enhancement ideas, suggestions and feedback about AVEVA products and services. All of the feedback you share here is monitored and reviewed by the AVEVA product managers.

Implement Quickscripts for OMI and OMI web client

InTouch has a concept of reusable quick scripts. We need that for Application server as well as for OMI and OMI web client.

Especially for use in OMI web client, these "quick scripts" should be able to:

  • Execute local (in browser) or remote (on server)

  • Have a local (session) scope or a global (acessible to all) scope

  • Be able to execute synchronously or asynchronously.

  • Be able to cache results for a period of time

  • Attach files

    Running scripts asynchronously would be great for making http calls to other APIs, such as the MES API, although we still need security contexts (such as the AIM access token) before this would work.
