We created this site to hear your enhancement ideas, suggestions and feedback about AVEVA products and services. All of the feedback you share here is monitored and reviewed by the AVEVA product managers.

Graphic Connectors not working when exceeding 1280 pixels

Angled connector lines do not maintain their horizontal and vertical orientation with 90-degree angles, when placed in a symbol whose dimensions exceed 1280 by 1280 pixels. This is known to Aveva, but no solution on this so far!

When using Archestra Graphics within OMI, you should NOT be limited to a certain symbol resolution/size. But this is the case now. Instead of using connectors we are forced to use several lines adding animation to 4-5 lines instead of adding 1 animation on 1 connector, which in turn will lead to lower loading performance in runtime.
