We created this site to hear your enhancement ideas, suggestions and feedback about AVEVA products and services. All of the feedback you share here is monitored and reviewed by the AVEVA product managers.

This should also supply the capability described in APPSERVER-I-202

We have a customer that needs to use scripting to create custom attribute descriptions (in need for alarms), such that the operators can see:

Me.HierarchicalName + " " + attributeName + " " + attributeName.Description

The idea is to allow the description field to accept script concatenation, not just strings.

Similarly, the input source script should also allow for such concatenation. For Telemetry Server tags it helps a lot.
