We created this site to hear your enhancement ideas, suggestions and feedback about AVEVA products and services. All of the feedback you share here is monitored and reviewed by the AVEVA product managers.

Enhance flexibility in customizing Galaxy Styles (unlimited user defined styles and import of design tokens)

To enhance design flexibility, we would suggest the following :

  1. Enable users to create and manage unlimited custom styles.

  2. Allow to define Galaxy styles with raw values as well as variables (design tokens)

  3. Support variables import from external sources (e.g. Figma variables in JSON format)

Theses features would help :

  • cater to diverse customer needs with personalized branding and unique design experiences.

  • improve consistency and maintenance (additions, updates)

  • streamline the design process, and reduce manual effort.

  • accelerate development time and reduce errors.

    This has been, somewhat, of a request I have made in the past. However, I have never asked for unlimited user defined. I have worked with XML and accessing XML for a long time. It is a hockey stick in performance when accessing data from an XML. It works very quickly until the file reaches a certain size then it gets very slow, very quickly. Unlimited is not, in my opinion, a good idea. But 25 is too small. Also, I believe they have increased the number to 50 in 2026?

Enable user to add more User Defined Galaxy Style Elements

By default, System Platform caps the number of User Defined Style Elements at 24. The ability to increase this amount at the will of the user would be much appreciated.
