We created this site to hear your enhancement ideas, suggestions and feedback about AVEVA products and services. All of the feedback you share here is monitored and reviewed by the AVEVA product managers.

Add access rights and limitations on OMI Application Manager

With the OMI Application Manager, it is possible to start many instances of the same application. Sometimes, it would be nice for not having more than one OMI application at the same time on the client side.

Also, having a Supervisory Server, I ask the possibility to manage accesses for remote users. Actually, since all applications are centralized, it is possible for a client in a dept to start the user interface of another dept.

Without these limitations, it is possible for a user to crash the server by starting applications until the server reaches an out of memory.
