We created this site to hear your enhancement ideas, suggestions and feedback about AVEVA products and services. All of the feedback you share here is monitored and reviewed by the AVEVA product managers.

Galaxy Restore with new options

For offline developing in office or home office: add a dialog screen for restoring a galaxy.

Make it easier for exporting and restoring a .cab-file to a different computer.

My suggestions for new points in new dialog screen before restore begins: 'RESTORE ALL UNDEPLOYED' and 'CHANGE GR NODE NAME' and 'RESTORE GR NODE ONLY'.

Exporting and restoring the costumer's galaxy in my virtual machine I'm always up to date with no need to know exactly which opjects I changed last time. But I always have to do the same things: undeploy all (on failure mark as undeployed), change GR Node name (my machine) and in most cases I do not need all other clients in the galaxy -> prevent restoring them, they cause only error messages.

    I would like to have similar possibility to select to restore from backup with undeployed status. In such case also warning before restoring if some objects are deployed.
    Only way presented now for undeployed status is to copy to Galaxy backup folder and creating new Galaxy, instead of old.
