We created this site to hear your enhancement ideas, suggestions and feedback about AVEVA products and services. All of the feedback you share here is monitored and reviewed by the AVEVA product managers.

Add Area Hierarchy Filter/Query Support for OMI Alarm App in Historical Alarm Mode

In the Current Alarms mode, users can easily view alarms by area using the Area Hierarchy if shown. However, if you show the Hierarchy menu when the Alarm App is in Historical Alarms mode, selecting an area has no effect on the returned alarms.

Users expect the same experience in Alarm History mode. Currently this appears to require additional scripting against the Events table, so we are not able to take advantage of the area model in this mode.
