We created this site to hear your enhancement ideas, suggestions and feedback about AVEVA products and services. All of the feedback you share here is monitored and reviewed by the AVEVA product managers.

Proxmox official support

Hi,

Following the recent VMware pricing changes, we are seeing a significant increase in customer requests for alternative virtualization platforms.More and more of our customers are considering or already deploying Proxmox as a replacement for VMware, and they are asking whether AVEVA products are officially supported on this platform.At the moment, we cannot clearly position ourselves, which makes it difficult to provide guidance and may become a blocker in some opportunities.Would it be possible for R&D to:

  • Assess Proxmox as a supported virtualization platform for AVEVA products ?

  • Provide an official statement or roadmap regarding potential support (scope, versions, and any limitations)?

This would help us respond consistently to customer requests and secure projects where Proxmox is becoming a key requirement.Thanks in advance for your feedback.
