We created this site to hear your enhancement ideas, suggestions and feedback about AVEVA products and services. All of the feedback you share here is monitored and reviewed by the AVEVA product managers.

Make Alarm Hotbackup Manager fully integrated into InTouch

The utility named Alarm Hotbackup Manager isn't a service nor needs to stay running. It simply makes an INI that is utilitized by InTouch runtime. Then alarms are sycned via an inocuous alarm grid with a query calling for said named pair. Why isn't this just an option within WindowMaker and WindowViewer launches it's own alarm grid like connection to facilitate this awesome feature set.

    Thank you for this suggestion. We are working to include all aspects of configuration into WindowMaker and I agree that this utility should be part of that change.
