We created this site to hear your enhancement ideas, suggestions and feedback about AVEVA products and services. All of the feedback you share here is monitored and reviewed by the AVEVA product managers.

Naming and Numbering validation change

Naming and Numbering template to Class links show errors at validation and require one of the attributes to have the Aspect – Attributes.ObjectName assigned to it. Should this be updated to being a ‘behind the scenes’ action or the validation rules altered in some way as the Naming Templates can validate correctly but then once you link them to the Class the error show, or should this just be introduced as part of training for customers?
