Object List Selection/Search enhancements

This would apply to customers with very large quantities of meters/gq/etc and therefore make extensive use of object lists to keep their workflows straight.

Customer wants greater ability to filter and organize their object lists.

Problem Statement

Customer has a very large measurement system and they appear to make extensive use of object lists to improve their workflow. However, now the act of navigating through those object lists is now proving to be a challenge.

Expectation

  1. "Object List combo box Search Improvements" - Currently you can only type a single letter to search through the combo-box of object lists. When you type a second letter, it treats it like you are initiating a second search.

Without too much solutioning, it has been suggested that simply changing the combobox to a richcombobox would solve this issue. However, it would have to be done on every form that uses the object list selection box. The customer would settle for this change being made to only the Gas Meter/Gas Quality Summary screens.

  1. "Object Lists should be AOR Aware" - Currently you can see any object list, regardless of whether it has objects that you have access to. Customer would like the ability to restrict object lists to AOR.
