We created this site to hear your enhancement ideas, suggestions and feedback about AVEVA products and services. All of the feedback you share here is monitored and reviewed by the AVEVA product managers.

Historian Point Administration Enhancements

  1. Add search/filter for a specific point (had to scroll through alphabetically). It was ok since I was only looking for 6 points to update, but if there were a lot, this could be tedious.

  2. Be able to select only certain lines and Update From System to get new descriptions. When I clicked Update From System, it updated all of the points which may not always be desirable.

  3. Add some kind of progress bar when Saving. After I clicked Update From System and Saved, it takes forever to save (ok, like 5 minutes), but I thought it was frozen for a while.

    We are moving all model building functions to the web client in the next major release.

    With the Sensor Alert screen delivered in 2022, we delivered the search capability where one can search for a specific point and then change its characteristics. We will deliver more capabilities in 20224+ releases.
