Adding to Nathan's comment, the MQTT driver is available today and integrates to Plant SCADA via OPC, just like 3rd party drivers do. In the near future we will tighten this integration and remove the need for OPC as a middleware.
The Communication Drivers Pack, that includes the MQTT driver, is included with the Operations Control Supervisory subscription which is a great way to license Plant SCADA. It is an add-on purchase for perpetually licensed systems.
The Aveva OI Server has MQTT capability and is being enhanced to support MQTT Sparkplug B and the latest feature sets. As a result, Aveva will continue to invest in this driver to remain current in the market. Plant SCADA is looking to provide connectivity to the Aveva OI Server and the Aveva Telemetry Server alongside the traditional Citect Drivers. This is the way we will deliver MQTT Drivers to Plant SCADA as the roadmap continues to progress.
Currently we would have had good use of being able to get MQTT data from sensors into Citect. We have several customers asking for this.

At the moment I would like to get data from sensors to SCADA.
I know this can be done with third party software i.e. using Keepware and then via OPC to SCADA. But I would be more interested in direct integration.

Are you primarily interested in getting data from sensors etc into Citect SCADA via MQTT, or also in publishing existing data from Citect SCADA via MQTT to other destinations?
