We created this site to hear your enhancement ideas, suggestions and feedback about AVEVA products and services. All of the feedback you share here is monitored and reviewed by the AVEVA product managers.

End customers do not want to pay for a historian, which cannot be used in the way they described to connect to web applications, etc.
Customers need data. Historian's interface is outdated and limited in configuration, just as the Active X controls are outdated.
Therefore, in each of our application finally and extend the data using Cicode.
Competitive SCADA already allow such functionalities, so it's a pity that this is not a strategy what customers expect.
Include support for ClickHouse OLAB database.
AVEVA Historian is included with FLEX & Operations Control Subscription offerings allowing them to take advantage of additional software with a lot less engineering costs on a custom solution as well as ability to have out-of-the-box upgrades with less custom code in the project, and the ability to truly leverage a purpose built utility for time-series data providing more accurate results for analytical processing. This is not a current strategic direction for SCADA while Historian already fits this purpose.
Please use the AVEVA Historian or AVEVA PI product. AVEVA provides purpose built tools for this need based off a True Time Series Historian functionality that provide superior reporting options and accuracy. Plant SCADA to AVEVA Historian and AVEVA PI Connectors are available that provide Store/Forward data protection.
I agree and the customer does not want to pay extra for a historian solution, but wants to be able to write to a database in parallel with storing trend files.
