Reading 64-Bit Double (Float) in OPC UA as a String

Energy meters and sensors often are using IEEE double precision (64 bit) floating point datatypes for counters and totalizer.

Reading this Items as a string from the OPC server and then convert it in a Real Data type Cicode Variable can allow us to view and manage this data .

    Agree with Sebastian, native IEEE double precision floatin point datatype within Citect would be the best solution.

    Not just opc ua, 64 bit REAL would be useful.
