We created this site to hear your enhancement ideas, suggestions and feedback about AVEVA products and services. All of the feedback you share here is monitored and reviewed by the AVEVA product managers.

Find, Search and replace in genies which are displayed with DspSym()

If you have created a genie which you want to use in runtime you have to set the 'I want to use this Genie with the Cicode function DspSym' to TRUE. It's then not possible to search and replace something in this genie. Search for instance in the ExampleSA project for '_Treeview_GetIndentPosition'. This finds 6 matches from which 4 are runtime instances of the genie. You can't double click to open the genie directly. Search and Replace doesn't work either. This is annoying.

When engineering you sometimes want to rename functions and use Search & Replace to modify the application. It doesn't find and change everything.
