We created this site to hear your enhancement ideas, suggestions and feedback about AVEVA products and services. All of the feedback you share here is monitored and reviewed by the AVEVA product managers.

Improvements of the deployment functionality

  1. Deploying a project can be slow, especially upoading a new version of the project. A progression bar with remaining time would be nice.

  2. Would be a nice feature if you could upload the complete project including the configuration files. Have an option to download this configuration project (besides the backup/restore functionality). Still deploy only the runtime project to the clients.

  3. Use the deployment server also for deploying Plant SCADA updates to the deployment clients.

  4. Have an option to do a scheduled deployment, for instance an automatic update of the version during the night.

These are requests from several customers in our distribution area (benelux and scandinavia) combined into one request.

    And setting a time out time for the deployment server, has been asked before but still, it cost extra engineerings time to log in every time

    And expand and collapse the versions of the grid. When you have multiple deployments it would be great to have this feature. And maybe a filter on the deployments for easier use when you have a lot of deployments and versions. It would help to avoid a lot of scrolling

    And being able to remotely restart all servers from Plant scada studio would be great
