We created this site to hear your enhancement ideas, suggestions and feedback about AVEVA products and services. All of the feedback you share here is monitored and reviewed by the AVEVA product managers.

Allow a Space in the EngUnits attribute field to turn on the attribute

Since the .EngUnits attribute for a Float or Integer is non existent until filled in, if you add a graphic into a template that references the .EngUnits it will show an error on the object when the .EngUnits is blank. There are times when we use the same graphic but want the EngUnits to be blank if the number is a ratio or something without a unit. I have an analog template that covers all kinds of Analog inputs. Older versions did not seem to have this issue. Putting a space in does not enable the EngUnits either. This could be one way to fix it or make them exist all the time.
