We created this site to hear your enhancement ideas, suggestions and feedback about AVEVA products and services. All of the feedback you share here is monitored and reviewed by the AVEVA product managers.

Ability to rename security roles

When during upgrade, new servers are created in a new domain, the roles defined in the galaxy when using OS Group Authentication become invalid because their names follow the format: <Domain name>\<OS Group>.
In a galaxy with many security groups, many roles, and fine-graned Operational Permissions, this conversion process becomes unmanageable, as existing Roles can only be deleted and new Roles must be created and configured manually.
Adding the option to Rename or Reassign a Role would resolve this issue and significantly reduce complexity during upgrades
