We created this site to hear your enhancement ideas, suggestions and feedback about AVEVA products and services. All of the feedback you share here is monitored and reviewed by the AVEVA product managers.

Provide in the UI of the Trend Pen element the possibility to configure the update speed

When using the Trend Pen element, there is currently no option to configure the update rate—only the Time Period for the requested data can be set. If a user selects a Time Period of one week, the element still refreshes every second. This behavior is inefficient and unnecessary when displaying data over such a large time range.

The UI should provide an option to configure the update rate, ideally adjustable at runtime. Allowing users to control the refresh interval would significantly improve performance, especially when the Trend Pen element is used more than 15 times within a single symbol.
