Improve EditBox styling and overlay behaviour in OMI Web

When using OMI Web, Edit Box controls currently render as overlay elements that visually cover underlying graphics. This results in a dated “Windows 95” style appearance and limits the ability to maintain a modern UI design.

It would be helpful if Edit Box styling could be configured directly through Galaxy Style so that UI appearance can be standardised across applications. Alternatively, providing a supported way to override the styling through CSS would allow developers to modernise the interface to meet system integrator or customer UI requirements.

Two areas that would improve flexibility:

  • Editable styling for the EditBox class (for example border and visual style) to allow switching between classic and modern UI designs.

  • Adjustable layout styling, as the current responsive layout includes an unnecessary ~40px shadow/padding that affects alignment and visual consistency.

Providing configuration options or supported CSS overrides would make it easier to create cleaner, modern interfaces in OMI Web while maintaining compatibility with existing applications.
