We created this site to hear your enhancement ideas, suggestions and feedback about AVEVA products and services. All of the feedback you share here is monitored and reviewed by the AVEVA product managers.

Ability to configure custom DQ flags in Realtime to show up in the HMI FDA

Existing Functioniality

  • all telemetered tables in platform

  • flags added either directly in the record, or in a structure that may have other non-boolean fields that would not hold DQ flags, but maybe be part of a larger data structure needed by the custom application

  • Accessible via:

    • iSQL

    • HPDB

    • PubSub

    • BLTs

    • Krunch Pipeline

    • VDB layer

Planned Functionality

Historical:

  • stored alongside baseline DQ

  • ability to store multiple DQ with every row

  • only one DQ will be sent to the HMI for trending

    • which DQ is sent in the trend is configurable in something similar to the existing attribute table (currently, this is limited to the flag structure)

Requested Functionality

HMI ability to add this to the existing attribute table, so that it can appear in one of the 3 FDA icon positions

The ability to add custom Boolean flags to the Realtime database that represent custom data qualities.

These custom DQ are populated by custom krunch or other applications.
Expectation

Ability to configure custom fields as inputs to the Flexible Device Attributes table, so that they can appear in the FDA CMR object
Idea business value

This would allow custom data quality flags to be added to the realtime database, and they would then be able to be used on the HMI in both realtime and historical contexts.

The would thereby allow custom krunch solutions and custom applications to be delivered by our customers and integrators
