We created this site to hear your enhancement ideas, suggestions and feedback about AVEVA products and services. All of the feedback you share here is monitored and reviewed by the AVEVA product managers.

IPV6 Support

Provide complete IPV6 Support within Enterprise SCADA, HMI, Liquids and possibly Gas.

We already support IPv6 from omnicomm to the field.

This is needed for Mexico customers as mandated by the government.


Expectation

Support for IPv6 everywhere.

Ability to install using IPv6 on ES24, and then upgrade to ES25, and then reconfigure the system to use IPv6 addresses.

Will assume DNS resolution in all configuration fields (i.e. will not require - or even permit - entering hex addresses. All configuration will be with host names)
