We created this site to hear your enhancement ideas, suggestions and feedback about AVEVA products and services. All of the feedback you share here is monitored and reviewed by the AVEVA product managers.

AF Bulk Model Model Building - Resync With AF Option

Is it possible to add a "re-sync with AF" button to a project created from the AF bulk model builder? This could be useful if new attributes are added to an AF element in the future. Right now, the bulk model builder does not replace already existing projects - it will only build new ones. This update option would allow for any existing customizations made to a PA project to remain (alert thresholds, historical data exclusions, etc) if an update is required, instead of the current process which requires deleting the existing project and re-building it.

I believe this should be a 'manual' request to update the project, instead of a "live" link between AF and PA, because users editing AF might otherwise make inadvertent changes to PA models they aren't aware of.
