We created this site to hear your enhancement ideas, suggestions and feedback about AVEVA products and services. All of the feedback you share here is monitored and reviewed by the AVEVA product managers.

Ability to Integrate IDE with standard source control tools (i.e. GIT, TFS, SVN)

With the discontinuation of Autosave 4 System Platform, the IDE is lacking any ability for doing source control. It would be great to have this as a native feature.

  1. Use Case 1: Developers tracking code changes, DIFF, rolling back code, etc… Ideally with a local repository option for systems not connected to the internet

  2. Use Case 2: Clients tracking system / process changes, rolling back objects and graphics, Compliance reporting for regulatory bodies

    I agree with this one. We need some work to be in place before we can do it though - specifically we need all of the configuration (template definitions, graphics, model etc.) to be available in structured text files (JSO, XML, CSV etc.) so that we can store them in a GIT repository. We are working on getting those things in place as fast as possible. See:
