Make IDE more comfortable to work with

Application Server 2023 and beyond:

No colors any more for the different objects. Grey symbols on light grey background. Make it more comfortable to work with. When your working environment is not optimal, reflections or shadows on screen, your glasses cause problems and so on. Especially for older developers, an eye-friendly design would be helpful.

My idea: create some skins/styles like 'colored', 'traditional', 'big mode' or 'strong contrast' out of the box.

    FYI the contrast has improved between SP2023 and SP2023R2.
    Unfortunately, only it improved IDE, not WindowMaker :'(


    As suggested in the idea, I also miss the color differentiation.
    In the past (pre2023), I could look at an icon and get 2 information based on its shape and color.
    For example: In SP2014R2, my muscle memory says an RDI object is a "greenish" while the single DI object is "redish" and an AppEngine is "Greyish with Blue in the middle" and if it has "yellow", it's undeployed.

    I could get all this with one glance at the icon.


    Now I need to look up-down to differentiate DIs and Areas and Engines (all 3 have an Hexa shape, they look the same).
    Now I need to look left-right to identify if I deploy the undeployed object (also difficult because things don't align very well, the label is lower than it's status).


    In 2023/2023R2, I have too look very carefully at each object to get simple information.

    My ideas in addition with colors:
    - Fix the horizontal alignments (text is too low)
    - Reduce the padding (vertical and horizontal spacing between items is proportionally too high)
    - Restore tabulations indents (child objects should be more distinct from their parents)
    - Add colors in the outlined icons and/or text (maybe customizable in the Galaxy Styles?)
    - Diversify icons outlines for different objects types:
    --- hexagon works fine for a container such as an engine
    --- square/circle/cloud shape would work for an area
    --- intersection/plug/network shape for a "data connector" such as DI or RDI
