Support for TimeSeries Historical Uploads Merged

The current versions of OASyS / Enterprise SCADA have some inherent issues with Historical uploads that populate TimeSeries. These issues and some of our group’s past workarounds are described in the attached file HistoricalUploadDescriptionV3.pdf. The past workarounds involved making changes to code that is no longer available for modification by system integrators. The WWW group is requesting that this support be added to the product, to allow our group to continue offering Enterprise SCADA to our new and existing customers that require this functionality.

Expectation

Protocols that support timestamped sample data for tags (such as DNP3) would be able to handle the uploading of timestamped samples into TimeSeries..collect without running into the limitations of not being able to cross the hour boundary, or overrunning the collectxfer internal buffers during the upload of a high volume of samples.
Idea business value

Many of our Water customers (such as City of Austin) require the ability to pull back 10000+ samples at a time, to handle situations where communications between SCADA and PLC are down for a weekend or longer.

    HI Clay, no enhancements for Timeseries are in the upcoming ES23 release. Which version would Austin go live with?

    Hi Jake, just a quick follow-up on this request. Have there been any updates on the TimeSeries Historical Uploads functionality? We will be sending out a proposal to Austin Water Utility shortly, and we want to make sure we include accurate information about the capabilities of the product.
