We created this site to hear your enhancement ideas, suggestions and feedback about AVEVA products and services. All of the feedback you share here is monitored and reviewed by the AVEVA product managers.

    Color animation through element properties

    You can change an element x, y, width... by accessing its properties through script. Could be helpful to get access to other properties for FillColor, LineColor, ElementStyle,... Attribute could be set by hexacolor. The interest would be to extend...

    User Defined Types - instances with overrides

    The UI for user defined types in InTouch is almost there. When selecting an instance, we'd like to use that UI to override things like item or EU units for example. Doing so via JSON is not going to work for most customers.

    Add the item name as a column in the tagname dictionary.

    This would stop people from making duplicate tags when they can't locate an item name that already exists, and make troubleshooting way easier when vendors use different tagnames than the PLC item name.

    Modern text input animation

    Please update the text input animation by disabling the text input popup that appears on element when enabling userinput animation. This instaneoulsy destroy any U.I. / U.X. effort. Could be nice to include custom Regex rules -> avoid scripting...

    Stop modifying Industrial Graphics when opening WindowMaker

    Every time WindowMaker is opened, all Industrial Graphics get touched with a new date/time. This results in NAD or manual sync operations sending all the graphics each time despite nothing actually having changed.

    Make Alarm Hotbackup Manager fully integrated into InTouch

    The utility named Alarm Hotbackup Manager isn't a service nor needs to stay running. It simply makes an INI that is utilitized by InTouch runtime. Then alarms are sycned via an inocuous alarm grid with a query calling for said named pair. Why isn'...

    Expose scripts in Industrial Graphics

    When printing an application, this allows us to understand all scripts in InTouch. Anything within Industrial Graphics isn't included. There should be a mechanism to show all scripts in the graphics for troubleshooting and optimization.
