We created this site to hear your enhancement ideas, suggestions and feedback about AVEVA products and services. All of the feedback you share here is monitored and reviewed by the AVEVA product managers.

Trend history file modification

Currently any change to a trend in Citect means having to discard the trend history files, for example changing the Sample Period. Would it be possible to have Citect modify the history files automatically?

There are tools in the Toolbox to achieve this already but it would be nice to have this within Citect.

Idea business value

The value of this idea is so that history can be more easily accessed by operators directly within Citect.

It would save time of integrators and users who at the moment need to download tools and figure out how to use these.

    I think like you Edward. It would be good if any change in Trend tag keep the data in history files.
