We created this site to hear your enhancement ideas, suggestions and feedback about AVEVA products and services. All of the feedback you share here is monitored and reviewed by the AVEVA product managers.

Capture Operator

The majority of Ampla delay accounting customers implement a field in their solutions to capture the name of the user who completes each delay record.

Currently, the only productised options (that i am aware of) for doing this (in the delay data entry details form) include:

  • The user manually types their name in via free text entry

  • The user selects their name from a drop down list

Some projects have been configured with a code item that grabs the logged on windows user and this is then inserted into the record being completed.

Ideally, i'd like to see a productised approach to meeting this requirement, as it exists in 95+% of projects that i am involved in.
