Software accumulator to have configureable rollover limit

When rate point is configured as a pulse input type its accumulating the flow with pulses. Based on number of pulses per fixed time, the system calculates the actual flow rate. With Hardware accumulator, the system depends on the field device to provide accurate count. However, when the counter is reset, the calculated flow jumps because the system thinks the counter has rolled over.

With soft accum, this problem is not evident. This makes the flow rate calculation resilient to issues like this. It only counts number of positive pulses. To keep track of the pulses, an internal accumulation counter is stored and its called Software accumulator that is configured to 1 million. In some cases customers prefer to configure the roll over value to other than 1 million but cant.

Expectation

For the user to configure the rollover value that is defined by the field device and be resilient to reset.

Although perhaps there is a human engineering portion that the software accum to reflect the actual device accumulator. In practice the software accum just keeps counting upward to keep track of changes in pulses to calculate flow.
